Yoshio Sakamoto Yoshio Sakamoto recently spoke at the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, giving interesting new facts about his development work from Metroid to WarioWare.

Thanks to cortjezter of GoNintendo and IGN, we learn that Team Ninja originally wanted Metroid: Other M to utilise the full Wii Remote and Nunchuk combo, but Sakamoto insisted the Wii Remote be used alone in a style reminiscent of the original NES Metroid. Dubbed the "Famicon Game Plus," Sakamoto is surprised no-one has tried this style before. Check out the links for more!
