Metroid Manga

Around the time of Metroid: Zero Mission's release in 2004, a detailed manga arrived in Japan concerning the vastly untapped history of the Metroid saga. While originally only available in Japan, thanks to the efforts of Snoopy and the gang at SnoopyCool, we can now enjoy a fully scanned and English-translated version.

Learn all about Samus' upbringing, training under the Chozo and her early missions. A few familiar faces introduced throughout the 2D series join the story along the way, and a number of revelations make this a necessary read for any Metroid fan. The manga is officially licensed and provides an entertaining read of Samus' early days before the events of Metroid: Zero Mission.

Remember to read the panels on each page right-to-left, as per the traditional manga presentation style.
