Game Endings
Each specific finale scene is based on the time you take to complete the game and/or your item collection percentage. Read on below for what you'll receive in each ending.
The Five Endings (for North American & European versions)
SPOILER WARNING - Don't read on if you want to see the endings yourself.

- North American & European Ending 1:
- Beat the game over 4 hours without 100% items collected and Samus will pose with her suit still completely on.

- North American & European Ending 2:
- Same as above - Samus shimmers and her face is revealed, but the final pose is one with her standing side-on with her left arm raised, she still has her suit on apart from the helmet. Beat the game between 2 and 4 hours without 100% items collected to see this.

- North American & European Ending 3:
- Complete the game under 2 hours without 100% of items collected. When Samus appears her suit shimmers before her helmet disappears, revealing her face. She then appears posing without her armor on wearing a two-piece navy blue outfit.

- North American & European Ending 4:
- Similar to Ending 3, Samus appears wearing her two-piece navy blue outfit but she's in a different pose. Complete the game over 2 hours with 100% of items collected for this one.

- North American & European Ending 5:
- Complete the game under 2 hours with 100% of items collected. When Samus shimmers the entire suit disappears, revealing her sporting the navy blue two-piece outfit, you then see her posing with a larger slightly-transparent image of herself in the background.

- Special artwork images:
- While technically not accessible in Metroid Fusion, these two bonus images can be seen in Metroid: Zero Mission. Link up the two games via the GBA link cable to unlock the Metroid Fusion gallery in Metroid: Zero Mission to access these images.

The Eleven Endings (Japanese version)
Each ending in the Japanese version of the game is different depending on the difficulty mode, item percentage and time completion. Each one is as follows:

- Japanese Ending 1:
- Beat the game on Easy mode.

- Japanese Ending 2:
- Beat the game on Normal mode over 4 hours.

 |
- Japanese Ending 3:
- Beat the game on Normal mode between 2 & 4 hours.
|
 |
- Japanese Ending 4:
- Beat the game on Normal mode under 2 hours.
|
 |
- Japanese Ending 5:
- Beat the game on Normal mode over 2 hours with 100% items collected.

 |
- Japanese Ending 6:
- Beat the game on Normal mode under 2 hours with 100% items collected.

 |
- Japanese Ending 7:
- Beat the game on Hard mode over 4 hours.

 |
- Japanese Ending 8:
- Beat the game on Hard mode between 2 & 4 hours.

 |
- Japanese Ending 9:
- Beat the game on Hard mode under 2 hours.
|
 |
- Japanese Ending 10:
- Beat the game on Hard mode over 2 hours with 100% items collected.

- Japanese Ending 11:
- Beat the game on Hard mode under 2 hours with 100% items collected.

Note that some endings show the same scenes as in the North American & European versions, while others show incredible artwork of various events in Samus' past, such as being rescued as a child by the Chozo and her training to become the Entrusted One.
