Just a quick note to inform all fans of Metroid Prime's musical goodness that I've re-recorded the soundtracks from both Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes to improve the overall quality and tweak some of the presentation.
If you've downloaded either soundtrack in the past feel free to drop by those sections to pick up the latest versions if you wish.
All together both soundtracks pack more than 4 hours of Metroid music - if you haven't picked them up before, swing by and enjoy the tunes! (as always, a free FilePlanet account is needed to gain access)
Have you ever found amazing LEGO creations around the web based on video game franchises? Surely you've seen some of the crazy Halo-themed designs out there. Well, thankfully some very clever builders have pieced together incredible Metroid models. Drop by Paul Hanger's new LEGO gallery for a look at some fantastic models inspired by Metroid Prime 3's starship assets including Samus' gunship, Federation starcraft and the classic Space Pirate ATC.
IGN have also recently fired up a special article celebrating what would have been Gunpei Yokoi's 67th birthday tomorrow. These articles of the achievements of Yokoi-san are always welcome and a fantastic testament to his inventions. Never mind the difficulties surrounding the Virtual Boy, the fact that Metroid has lived on to this day and the Nintendo DS still prints money proves that his contributions will never be forgotten.
Phew, the final batch of Smash Bros. Brawl content is now finished! Well, not entirely, there's still a few stickers missing, but they'll be added in good time. To round out our coverage I've loaded up a Review, a Trophies gallery and a Stickers gallery. Watch out for spoilers in these two galleries if you'd prefer to find all the Metroid goodies in the game yourself.
