Compiling the updated Pinball soundtrack inspired me to work on further Pinball coverage, so today we have a few new goodies for Metroid Prime Pinball. I've added a fresh new batch of screenshots for the game and a new Bosses Guide along with an updated Secrets and Tips page. The main FAQ has also been given a facelift and should hopefully have new additions over time.
Jennifer Hale (the voice of Samus in the Prime trilogy) sure has a great career in the voice acting business! She's recently provided the voice of Jedi Aayla Secura in The Clone Wars animated series - stop by the official Star Wars site for a short-and-sweet interview.
Update: Added new Tables Guide.
Thanks to Halley's Comet Software, we can now present a richer selection of music from Metroid Prime Pinball minus all the overlapping sound effects. There may be one or two minor themes still missing, but this collection now houses the majority (if not all) of the music from the game. Enjoy the tunes!
I was going to keep this one under wraps until the Echoes and Corruption maps were ready too, but couldn't resist. I recently decided to tackle the prospect of producing game maps for the Metroid Prime trilogy as the task had always daunted me and I wasn't sure if it could even be done in a decent way.
Thankfully the gamble paid off as we now have a complete set of maps for Metroid Prime. As always, this feature took an enormous amount of effort to piece together but I am hoping to repeat the process for the rest of the series (well, not sure yet about Hunters). Please be patient as the next installments will take some time to finish. Enjoy!
Happy new year! To help celebrate the Earth's latest run around the sun, I've reworked our Comics and manga section to work with larger resolution images in the same gallery style used for artwork and manuals. The guys over at SnoopyCool have also finally finished up their translation of the Metroid Manga, so we've now got the entire two-volume collection ready for action. The entire story is a fantastic read and amazingly depicts Samus' life up to the events of Zero Mission, tying together a ton of characters and plot points throughout the classic series (and offering a few interesting points that eerily relate to the real world), so be sure to give it a read.
