Both Aether and Dark Aether are filled with handy items for Samus to use. Much like Metroid Fusion, many of Samus' major abilities won't be simply picked up, rather you'll need to defeat some nasty thieves before recovering her abilities. Below you'll find details of where and how you'll find all manner of items. Pinpointing locations of every item is made all the more easier as every room and area in the game bears a unique name.
Every time you recover a new major item the Logbook will chime in to give you a quick lowdown of what the item is and how to use it, so be sure to read up on what you've just picked up if unsure.
Use the guides below to track down any item you're missing, and bear in mind all the major upgrades are listed in the order you'll most likely find them in, but there's probably ways to go about breaking that usual order. That handy humming sound from Metroid Prime also echoes from every item when you're in close proximity, so keep your ears open for it.
Note: Every item is linked to the walkthrough and vice versa (at the point where you come across specific items), so that you can easily navigate your way back and forth.
