Energy Tank locations

Energy Tanks permanently increase Samus' health by 100 units. If you spot the tell-tale red glow of an Energy Tank - don't move on without it. Five can be found throughout the Bottle Ship, and a total of nine can be acquired when combined with the four that are built with Energy Parts.

Main Sector

1.

On your way to the System Management Room, you'll find this Energy Tank hiding inside a damaged pipe running along the ceiling. Enter Morph Ball mode and roll inside the damaged section of the pipe nearby. Roll up to the obstructing grate right beside the Energy Tank and clear it with a bomb to reach your prize. Sector 1

1.

On the way to the Biosphere Test Area and Exam Center, you'll pass through a large and slightly curving indoor jungle environment home to a lone Groganch (this will be the second one you'll encounter close-up). Move towards the sealed exit of the region and look for an automated platform along the left wall that Samus can hang from. Ride the platform to its destination, then work your way through a network of pipes to eventually discover this Energy Tank along the way. Go to walkthrough

Sector 2

	1.	With the Speed Booster authorised for use, head to the large icy cavern where you fought the first Gigafraug (large, nasty two-legged beast with a bad temper). Proceed to the top of the cavern, making use of the hidden tunnel up on the right side near the base of the slippery slope if need be. Once there, exit the cavern and head down the adjacent corridor, giving yourself enough room for a Speed Booster run-up (clear out the obstructions with Missiles if needed). Run back towards the icy cavern and build up the Speed Booster's charge. Enter the cavern and run to the edge of the broken bridge inside. Once in position, Shinespark over the massive gap to reach a ledge on the far side. Look for a tiny hole hidden behind a tall ice pillar on the right - use the Morph Ball to descend and follow the tunnel. Locate this Energy Tank resting on a small ledge below. Go to walkthrough
	2.	You can't miss this Energy Tank. Up in the northern region of Sector 2, make your way through the upper ventilation chambers of the massive frozen corridor (filled with the tall spire-like protrusions); eventually you'll drop down right into the chamber where this Energy Tank awaits (it's across from the switch that activates the cargo lift in the Materials Transfer Lift chamber below). Sector 3

1.

This Energy Tank can be found in plain sight inside the entrance of the Geothermal Power Plant - climb up the stairs to see it resting at the end of a platform snugly between the stairwells. Go to walkthrough
